HACL To Launch New Generation of Honda HR-V in Pakistan
Back in June, a customs clearance bill for the third generation of Honda HR-V was circulating amongst the car enthusiast circles of Pakistan. Then a wrapped unit of the same vehicle was also seen on the highways. It was a huge signal that the company was testing the third generation of Honda HR-V in Pakistan.

This is great news for our automotive industry as well as Honda lovers who felt like the brand was lagging behind its competitors in terms of crossovers and hybrid engines.
Then the news was confirmed by Honda Atlas itself as it showed a shadowed version of HR-V’s logo at the Pakistan Auto Show (PAS 22’). This generated a wave of optimism amongst spectators and netizens alike.
Therefore, it is without a doubt that car enthusiasts in Pakistan will be awaiting the launch of the Honda HR-V. The custom bill for the test unit of Honda HR-V was Rs 6 million, but since the automaker will be launching a CKD unit of the compact crossover, the final price can vary quite a lot. Plus, the launch of the HR-V can either be in 2023 or 2024.
As for the features of the car, it is rumored that the HR-V being launched by the HACL is a 1497 cc hybrid engine, generating a power of 118 hp and torque of 145 Nm. Here’s an infographic detailing all the features of the car.
What are your thoughts about the third generation of HR-V? Do you think the automaker will gain the ground it has lost to its competitors by launching this model?
