Hyundai Nishat Increases Prices Of Tucson By 1 Million
Since the Pakistani Rupee is nose-diving, the auto industry is going through another wave of price hikes. The other day, we covered the news of Kia Lucky motors increasing the prices of all its commercial vehicles.
Today, we’ve received another circular from, albeit from Hyundai Nishat, that the company is hiking the prices of both of its Tucson variants by Rs. 1 million.
Updated Prices of Hyundai Tucson
The Hyundai Tucson FWT variant, which previously cost Rs 5,856,990, will now cost Rs 6,899,000 after an increment of Rs. 1,042,010. Whereas, the AWT variant, which previously cost Rs 6,361,990, will now cost Rs 7,399,000 after an increment of Rs. 1,037,010.

This is a huge increase for the hot-selling SUV, but not shocking at all. After a Rs 1.1 million increase in the price of Kia cars, it was evident that other automakers will also announce a massive price hike.
However, since the Hyundai Tucson is meant for an economically affluent class, we don't expect any significant fall in its sales. What are your thoughts about this price increase?
