Hyundai Alcazar: A New Three-Row SUV
Since Hyundai is increasing its market rapidly in Pakistan, we expect the automaker to launch their other most premium cars in Pakistan. The Alcazar is a new three-row SUV launched by Hyundai in the international sphere. In the SUV segment, It is deemed the easiest car to drive owing to its smart-side dimensions.
Hyundai Alcazar is the extended version of Hyundai Creta, the brand’s bestseller vehicle. Overall, the exterior layout is almost 70% the same but Hyundai has done a lot to differentiate this novel vehicle from its 5-seater SUV, Creta.
Hyundai Alcazar consists of a lengthier wheelbase, extended ground clearance, and it’s more heightened than Hyundai Creta. Hyundai Alcazar is loaded with numerous impressive additions along with a larger petrol engine and more horsepower.
The front exterior of Alcazar and Creta appear to be similar but the Alcazar has some distinct changes to its front exterior. The metallic block-like grille gives a very fine unique look to this SUV. Moreover, it has chrome encased fog lamps with a different scuff plate.

In terms of dimensions, Hyundai Alcazar is ranked smallest among the three-row SUV. If we see the wheelbase, it has the longest wheelbase in SUVs, giving more legroom and cabin space. In contrast to Creta, Hyundai Alcazar has a more heightened roof, giving the third row more headspace and making movements more easily.
Hyundai Alcazar comes with a couple of options. The 1500 CC turbocharged engine comes with a diesel engine that produces 115 hp and 250 Nm of torque. The petrol engine comes in a 2000cc variant that produces 152 hp and 191 Nm of torque.
In both of these variants, the Hyundai Alcazar comes with a 6 speed Manual transmission and 6-speed automatic transmission. Hyundai claims worldwide that the 3rd Gen Nu 2.0 Petrol BS6 engine (6MT) offers acceleration of 0–100 km/h in under 10 seconds.
Overall, Hyundai Alcazar is offered in three variants, i.e Prestige, Platinum, and Signature.
Alcazar comes with a variety of features that start from wireless phone charging, Auto Healthy Air purifier with a clean AQI display, phone holders, front row backseat table, and retractable cup holders.
It also contains 64 color ambient lighting in different colors, seat lumbar support, cruise control, front and rear parking sensors, 3rd row 50:50 split, smart access card entry, glove box cooling, voice control, paddle shifting at steering wheels, dual-tone dashboard, sunroof+moonroof, tinted glass, and an integrated antenna.
Hyundai Alcazar has been fully packed with safety and security purposes. It comes with a highly integrated and mechanically strong anti-lock braking system, central locking, power door locks, child safety locks providing customers with entire satisfaction according to security point of view.
Hyundai Alcazar has 8 airbags, which are further placed in driver airbags, passenger airbags, pillars, and side airbag front. Moreover, Hyundai extends the security of Alcazar by introducing the front and side-impact beams, traction control, tire pressure monitor, vehicle stability control system, crash sensor, engine check warning, automatic headlamps, engine immobilizer, adjustable seats, seat belt+door ajar warning, electronic stability control, and EBD.

In India, Alcazar's price starts at Rs.16.30 Lakhs(basic variant) and goes to Rs. 20 Lakhs (Signature variant). The waiting time of Hyundai Alcazar ranges from 6 weeks to 8 weeks, depending upon the availability of variants.
In July 2021, Hyundai Alcazar was launched in India. In July, Alcazar was booked at a very large scale, giving more than 11000 units booking in the first two months. However, due to the semiconductor chip shortage, customers faced an extended waiting time of more than 3 months, ranging from variant to variant.
